Plan ahead, be sure to put Mass on your schedule for New Year’s.

January 1st is the day on which we have the Octave of Christmas itself, closing out the week of Christmas.

It also is a Feast of the Motherhood of Mary, Feast of Jesus’ circumcision and naming, Worldwide Day of Prayer for Peace in the coming year. Christ is the Prince of Peace. Without him there will be not genuine peace among us.
